Please note that we DO NOT offer internal scans, we offer abdominal scans.
Our early reassurance scan is available from 7 weeks gestation, through to 15 weeks 2 days.
All of our sonographers are qualified and trained through the NHS. The primary purpose of this scan is reassurance, this is not a diagnostic scan. If an anomaly is found, you will be referred on to the NHS.
Appointment length: 20 minutes
Scan time: approx. 10 minutes
What is included in this package:
- Watch the heartbeat and see baby’s movements
- Measurement of gestation
- 4D freeview (from 12 weeks gestation)
- Report of scan findings
- 3 black & white pictures
Please note:
- We are only able to provide this service to persons over the age of 18
- We DO NOT offer internal scans, this will be an abdominal scan
Extras:
- Additional prints (£3 or 2 for £5)

Tips to prepare for your scan
Please arrive to your appointment with a full bladder. We advise staying well hydrated in the run up to your scan and drinking a pint of water about an hour before.
Please arrive 5 minutes early to your scan and if you are running late, please let us know by calling us on 01484 970358.
