Please note that we DO NOT offer internal scans, we offer abdominal scans.
Our reassurance & 4D scan is available from 24 weeks gestation, through to term. This scan is primarily a reassurance scan.
All of our sonographers are qualified and trained through the NHS. The primary purpose of this scan is reassurance, this is not a diagnostic scan.
Appointment length: 20 minutes
Scan time: approx. 15 minutes
What is included in this package:
- Watch the heartbeat and see baby’s movements
- Measurement of gestation
- Baby’s estimated weight can be provided (not for diagnostic use)
- Gender can be revealed during the scan or written down to open at a later date
- Report of scan findings
- 2 black & white pictures
- 2 colour pictures (3D)

Please note:
- We are only able to provide this service to persons over the age of 18
Multiple pregnancies:
There is a surplus of £15 for multiple pregnancies, please call the clinic to discuss options.
Rescans:
If we cannot get 3D images (for the 2 colour pictures) due to position of baby, a complimentary rescan is included in this package. Rescans are at the discretion of Miracle Within staff.

Tips to prepare for your scan
Please arrive to your appointment with a full bladder. We advise staying well hydrated in the run up to your scan and drinking a pint of water about an hour before.
Please arrive 5 minutes early to your scan and if you are running late, please let us know by calling us on 01484 970358.
