Late Reassurance Scan

Our late reassurance scan is available from 24 weeks gestation, through to term. This scan is primarily a well-being scan, however the baby’s gender can be confirmed as part of the scan.
All of our sonographers are qualified and trained through the NHS. The primary purpose of this scan is reassurance, this is not a diagnostic scan.
Appointment length: 20 minutes
Scan time: approx. 10 minutes
What is included in this package:
- Watch the heartbeat and see baby’s movements
- Measurement of gestation
- Baby’s estimated weight can be provided (not for diagnostic use)
- Gender can be revealed during the scan or written down to open at a later date
- Report of scan findings
- 3 black & white pictures

Please note:
- We are only able to provide this service to persons over the age of 18
Multiple pregnancies:
There is a surplus of £15 for multiple pregnancies, please call the clinic to discuss options.
Rescans:
This scan package does not qualify for any rescans.

Tips to prepare for your scan
Having something sugary before your scan (such as fruit juice) is advised. We advise staying well hydrated in the run up to your scan.
